Holiday cards

Fig_4 It's that time of year when crafters everywhere are looking for ideas for their holiday cards.  If you haven't made yours yet, don't fret.  Here are a couple of ideas for you.

The first one is a simple Christmas tree using our Pines template and fibers.  You know, lots of people think stitching is really hard and time-consuming.  Those are the people you can "wow" with this card!   Shh....it only takes about 5 minutes to stitch the tree and the rest is a piece of cake.

Step6_lg The second card was done using our Stamp & Stitch Forest set and fibers.  I just added some red French knots and gold ribbon to make it a little more festive for the holidays.  From start to finish, this card only takes about 12 minutes, and that's with using three different colors of fibers!  What's the trick?  Our handy dandy needle threader!  It makes quick work of color changes.  I would be completely lost without it.

So there you go...two fast & easy ideas for holiday cards!  Now, if you would like to get project ideas like these, complete with step-by-step pictures, on a monthly basis, then be sure to sign up for our email newsletter.  You can find the link for this on our home page.  Don't worry...we won't bombard you with spam.  We only send information you can use, not the junk you don't want.  And we won't share your email with anybody else.

Have a great Thanksgiving!  We all have many blessings to be grateful for and it does our soul good to pause and reflect on them.
