New Products!

I'm afraid I've been a very bad blogger lately.  We were so busy preparing for CHA, then Todd & I both came home from the show sick with a nasty bug that was making its way around the show floor (you shake a lot of hands, you get a lot of germs!).  That lasted for over two weeks, and now I've wrenched my back!  I'm feeling old and worn out these days, but am trying desperately to catch up and keep up!

Binder_02_mauve We're in the midst of updating our website with new products, but in the meantime, I thought I'd show a few of them here.  This first one is our Quick Stitch Storage Tote.  I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about this!  For years I have searched high and low for the "perfect" way to store fibers.  I've tried virtually everything:  floss boxes, floss organizers, jars, baggies...you name it, I've used it.  I was never truly happy with any of them.  So, we decided to design something ourselves!

I wanted something that could be used for storage at home as well as being easy to take along to a crop.  So, our solution was to make it a binder that could easily stand on a table or shelf, yet have a handle for easy carrying.  If you'll notice, the handle is small and on the spine, rather than where the binder opens.  This way, you won't have big straps laying all over the table when you open it up.  It's pretty big, 9 3/4" x 13 3/4" (closed), but will still fit on a standard shelf.  It's 3 1/2" deep so it has plenty of room for all those fibers and ribbons.

Binder___contents Ribbon?  Yes, ribbon!  We made this very versatile so you can use it in many different ways.  It was originally designed to store our Stamp & Stitch sets (coming soon!).  We wanted a way to not only store fibers, but also the clear stamps and templates.  Our idea was that we could have two sets of rings so that we could flip through stamps on one set and fibers on the other.  In this picture, you can see that we have the fibers wrapped onto a Fiber & Ribbon Storage Card.  This is the way all of our fiber assortments will be sold from now on.  (The previous fiber packs have been discontinued.)  In addition, these cards are available in 4-packs so that you can put your current fibers and ribbons on them, not just the fibers you purchase from us.

There are also accomodations for the Cork Board, Multi-Tool, Retractable Paper Piercer (or a pen), a needle case, and the inside of the back cover has a clear vinyl pouch to hold the 12" templates, cutting mat, and acrylic blocks.  The smaller templates are being redesigned with holes so that they can be stored on the rings as well.

These are already starting to ship, so be sure to look for them in your local store!  And check back for more new products!  We'll be updating the website and my blog frequently over the next few weeks.

Check it out!

Im_in_stitches I've been waiting on pins and needles to see this new webisode on The Scrapbook Lounge!   Why?  Because they're featuring our very own Timeless Touches products this week!

Just go to Craft TV Weekly, click on the webisode and watch Tricia Morris demonstrate our products.  She does a great job of showing several ways of using our templates and tools for techniques in addition to stitching.  If you have our templates, and want some additional ways to use them, this is for you!

And if you can't watch it today, don't worry.  They save the webisodes in the archives so you can watch any time you want to.  I hope you enjoy watching this online class as much as I did!
